Description
Acryloid B-67 is an isobutyl methacrylate polymer. It is an alkyd-compatible acrylic ester resin used in picture restoration as a varnish and soluble in white spirit, alcohols, ketones, and glycol. The addition of B-67 to alkyds, oils, and varnishes produces coatings of improved hardness, faster drying speed, and better color and gloss retention. It is more readily soluble and also harder than Paraloid B72.
