Description
Beeswax is used on twine in the construction of phase boxes. String may be pulled over the wax to increase its strength. It may also be used in preservative coatings and in lining adhesives. It has been used as a plasticizer and stabilizer in oil colors, and as an ingredient in tempera emulsions. By mixing equal parts of beeswax and rosin, damaged wax seals may be carefully repaired. Natural Beeswax is available in blocks; pellets of Bleached Beeswax are also offered, and may be easier to use in situations requiring melted wax.
