Description
This tape features a 2 mil polyester base and a high tack 400 adhesive with a paper liner. It offers excellent adhesion to many substrates, both similar and dissimilar, including Ethafoam, Plastazote, wood, metal, glass, or plastic. It is favored by some over hot- melt adhesives due to concerns regarding off-gassing. It has excellent UV light resistance and high solvent resistance; please note that this makes it exceedingly difficult to remove. As with any tape, it is inadvisable to put this product in direct contact with valuable artifacts.
