Description
Whether the pH of an item is alkaline or acidic can be an important factor in determining how to treat and store a paper-based artifact. We find that this pencil is not only quick but most importantly accurate, which less expensive pens and pencils often are not. A drop of distilled water on the surface followed by a few quick strokes of the pencil can tell you in as few as fifteen seconds the pH of the article in question. A chart is included in the package for quick comparisons.
