We offer the largest selection of 100% cotton museum- quality mat boards in the industry with the advantage of incorporating MicroChamber Technology. Available in a broad range of subtle and classic colors, this material is constructed of four equal plies and offers superior rigidity and strength. All boards meet the regulations of ANSI/ NISO Z39.48-1992 (Permanence of Paper) and pass the Photographic Activity Test (P.A.T.). No optical brighteners are used in the manufacturing process. All boards are buffered with the exceptions of Natural White, which has non-buffered outer plies, and Photorag, which is completely non- buffered. A wide selection of colors is available and monitors may misrepresent shades; please call for swatches or fan decks. Depending on the color, Alpharag Artcare boards are available in 1, 2, 4, and 8 ply sheets in sizes ranging from 32 x 40 to 48 x 96. This material is sold only in full cartons.
