Description
These boxes hold large newspapers in a one-piece housing. The lid folds back to lie flat when the collection is being handled. They are available in our MicroChamber board as this is the only material which can actually promote preservation of the newspapers stored inside by removing harmful oxidative and preacidic deteriorative molecules before they can cause damage. Newsprint is a notoriously poor quality paper which quickly deteriorates from within, releasing oxidative gases (peroxides), acetic acid, and aldehydes which become organic acids. Only MicroChamber products can remove these byproducts of deterioration before they become organic acids. Furthermore, a MicroChamber paper has the capacity to remove 170 times more acid than the equivalent weight and size of common buffered-only paper.
